1. What we hold

What we do not hold
- No bank or mobile money details. No payment passes through Bantaba.
- No precise location. You pick your own area.
- No contact list, no access to your phone book.
- No advertising trackers and no profiling for commercial purposes.
2. On what basis
- Your consent, given when you create an account and when you post a listing.
- Performing the service you asked for: publishing, searching, being contacted.
- Legal obligation, for the records kept for security and for cooperation with the authorities.
3. Who can see it
Your phone number and your listings are visible to signed-in users. That is the point of a listing. Everything else is seen only by the publisher.
We sell no data. We pass none to advertisers. Data may be given to the competent authorities on a lawful request.
4. Where the data sits
On a private server operated by the publisher in Germany, under European data protection rules.
5. Your rights
- Access — download everything from the app, under My account.
- Correction — you edit your listings and your profile yourself.
- Deletion — deleting the account inside the app clears the device. Write to info@hesatech.de for anything held on the server.
- Objection and restriction — write to us; we answer within fifteen days.
- Complaint — you may complain to the national data protection authority of The Gambia.
6. Security
- Traffic to the server is encrypted.
- Passwords are stored encrypted, never in clear.
- Uploaded images are filtered before display so that no code can run.
- Data received from the server is checked before it is shown.
7. Children
Bantaba is not meant for anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you find an account belonging to a child, report it and we will remove it.
8. Changes
Any change to this page is published here with its date. A substantial change is also announced in the app.
